Jamie Green

Influenced at an early age by his grandfathers tales as a jazz drummer on London’s Soho music scene in the 50’s, along with being exposed to so many incredible sounds growing up by artists like Miles Davis, Joe Henderson and Led Zeppelin, Jamie was quickly inspired to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps when he first picked up the drumsticks at the age of 13.

Over the years, Jamie has played in a multitude of musical environments with vast experience performing at famous venues around the UK, such as – Brighton’s Great Escape Festival, The Garage (Islington), The Old Blue Last, The Boileroom, Wedgewood Rooms and more recently London’s famous, Sofar Sounds.

Artist Bio

After graduating from The Academy of Contemporary Music back in 2011, Jamie moved to London to find his own way as an artist. This saw him working as a Songwriter, Assistant Engineer and Composer for the boutique studio in south-east London, Effretto Studios. Whilst here, he really began to develop his craft and was composing music for a myriad of projects in the form of co-writes with dance/pop singer Yasmin Jane, scores for feature length films, computer games, to compositions for corporate clients KPMG, as well as engineering recording sessions for Universal Music Group.

Fast-forward a few years later, you find the singer/songwriter and Multi-instrumentalist performing as, Two Moons Under. ‘Fusing ambient, electronic sounds and big guitars, with catchy pop melodies’.

Jamie has sung “What’s Your Pleasure” & “Young Hustlers” on the “Total Implosion” album.
