How To Use Logic Pro X: Everything You Need To Know For Beginners

This YouTube video will teach you the Logic Pro software from the beginning. Follow Andy Whitmore as he starts with a factory loaded Logic Project & proceed to put a basic track together using only the stock sounds provided with Logic Pro X.

He shows you how to load up a new software instrument track, how to lay a basic drum pattern. Alongside this, you’ll see a clever trick to lay down a bass line from someone humming it – & get it right every time – without having to ask the artist to keep repeating the bass line!

Even if you’re an absolute beginner, getting started is easy!

In this lesson – I focus on midi recording. I focus mainly on the Piano Roll editing.

I touch on some basic but very useful plugins including:

  • Compression
  • Delay
  • Limiting (mastering)
